KNIT

Using one's own work is better than using other people's work, so I have the determination to create my own work, which is knitting.
Knitting is a method of making fabric, clothing or clothing accessories from knitting yarn. Different from weaving that crosses two rows of yarn that are perpendicular to each other, knitting using only a single yarn. A line of completed stitches is held in one of the knitting needles until the start of a new stitch.

Knitting can be done by hand or machine. There are various types of knitting styles and techniques. The basic techniques in knitting are the upper and lower stitches. The upper stitch is done by hooking the yarn from the front, while the bottom stitch is connecting the yarn from the back. The results of knitting have a pattern like the letter v continued.

Flat knitting is done using two knitting needles or circular needles. The result is a straight and horizontal fabric (rectangle). Circular knitting is done using two-pointed knitting needles or circular needles. The result is a cylindrical cloth such as socks and warm sleeves.

Different types of knitting needles and yarn sizes are used to produce knits of different shapes. Garment products made from knitwear, for example: warm clothes, scarves, blankets, hats. socks, to blouses, dresses. and tunic.

The technique of knitting with a knitting needle is called crochet (English: crochet). Basically, crochet and knitting are both aimed at connecting the yarn through the puncture holes, but using different knitting and needle techniques. The needle for crochet is called a lace needle or hakpen (from Dutch: haakpen) which has a hook on the end.
